So much to see in Canada.Pricing, Weights, Measurements and Capacities Whatever you choose I wish you many enjoyable escapes. Nothing destroys a vacation more then when the electrical system is DOA on park arrival or the toilet is kaput. The issues come with the fact they often start breaking not long after you leave the lot. Use it for 5 yrs and then sell it for whatever you can get for it. There is something to be said for buying cheap, especially when one has young children who are going to beat everything up (although high quality units can withstand it better). The beauty is more then skin deep with these units although the Safari Condos are very euro styling (and all aluminum skin). The downside is they all build for quality and they may not have as many dodahs in them. So possibly a used one might get close to your budget. The upside is if you could it would likely outlast you and every park you enter people who "know" will be in awe of your product - you will be able to crack lots of jokes of a love of winter camping at -25 with a straight face since a bigfoot was designed for those conditions.Ī brand new 17 escape is 26k-27k CAD. The best recommendation would be a Bigfoot but I doubt you could get one of their 17's for even close to your budget. Both Canadian manufacturers and excellent build quality infinitely superior to either of your current choices. But perhaps a touch more then that and you might be able to find either a near new 17' Escape or Safari Condo TT. At 15K I think you are aware you are buying more for price then quality.
